I came here after hearing they serve chicken katsu. Right after ordering, I was served a drink and soup, which was a nice touch. I got the chicken katsu bento — the katsu was crispy, and the sides were well-prepared. The rice and other items were flavorful and satisfying.

First time dining here. This was some of the best rolls and sashimi we have had. Wonderful service. The music was rather odd, but i rather enjoyed something different. Second visit today and i tried the shabu. Most delicious!

Tried Akeno for the first time today and was really impressed!! The sushi was super fresh, and the veggies tasted like they were just cut. Everything came out quickly and looked amazing!! The sushi chef was really friendly and made me feel welcome. I also came during their 2–5 PM special, so 20% off was a nice surprise. Will definitely be back!!

Will definitely come back to Akeno! Had the tonkotsu ramen, salmon and tuna nigiri, chicken katsu, seafood salad, and chicken fried rice. Everything was very tasty and satisfying!

I ordered the pepper tuna appetizer, Sumo Roll, sake, and the teppanyaki steak . everything was absolutely delicious! As a regular customer, I always enjoy coming here. The food is consistently fresh and flavorful, Akeno is hands-down one of my favorite places in town. Worth every penny!

​I am very impressed with the food taste at Akeno. The food here reminds me of what authentic culinary is like in Asia. ​I have ordered a variety of foods here. Today, I had their salmon bento. I am amazed with the quality and freshness of the salmon. This bento box itself is quite an experience. You can feel a different savory and sweet taste from the salmon. Then, the salad has a ginger and homemade taste. Even the fried rice has a very flavorful taste. ​If you are looking for an Asian authentic culinary experience, you should check this place out.
